Meet Ty Davis
Ty Davis is the Founder and Lead Tax Advisor of Emerald Tax Firm, a New Orleans–based advisory firm specializing in strategic tax planning for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. She started this business to not only provide for her family, but to also help her community keep small businesses alive! As an IRS Enrolled Agent with over ten years of tax industry experience, Ty helps clients reduce tax liabilities, increase cash flow, and make informed financial decisions through proactive tax strategy.
Ty’s background includes roles as a Tax Advisor with TurboTax, QuickBooks Bookkeeping Expert, Tax School Instructor and Office Manager with Liberty Tax, and in-house bookkeeper for a commercial construction firm. She is also a Louisiana-licensed life insurance agent, bringing a well-rounded perspective to financial planning and risk management.
A passionate educator and community advocate, Ty regularly speaks at workshops, conferences, and community events, delivering practical, easy-to-understand tax education that empowers underserved communities and business owners to build long-term financial stability.
